Welcome to the Digital Toolbook for Social Impact (the “Platform”) operated by the Koita Centre for Digital Transformation (KCDT), in collaboration with India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS) and Koita Foundation (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our Platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect (if any), how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

2. What information we collect

• No registration required / no login needed. The Platform functions primarily as a public listing of digital tools, service providers, case studies and learning resources.
• Passive collection: Like many websites, we may automatically collect certain technical data when you visit the Platform (such as IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, referral source, date/time) via web analytics and server logs. This data is collected in aggregated or anonymised form for internal performance monitoring and improvement.
• When you submit a form: If you use our contact form, you may provide personally identifiable information (name, organisation, email address, message). That data is collected only for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.
• We do not collect other personal data (such as financial information, government ID numbers, health data) through the Platform.
• If you do not submit any form, you can browse the Platform anonymously.

3. How we use the information

• The technical/analytics data is used to (a) improve the user experience, (b) monitor and optimise our website performance (load times, navigation, content usage), and (c)understand general usage trends.
• If you contact us via our form, we will use your name, organisation and email address only to respond to your enquiry or provide further information relevant to your message.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies & tracking technologies

• We may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage, web beacons) to help us analyse website traffic and usage patterns.

KCDT, ILSS and Koita Foundation assume no liability for any decisions made or actions taken based on such information.

7. Data retention

• Technical/analytics data: aggregated or anonymised data may be retained indefinitely for internal analysis.
• Contact form enquiries: personal data submitted may be retained until such time as the enquiry is resolved, and then may be archived or deleted as per our internal policy (e.g., after 24 months) unless a longer retention is required by law.
• If you wish to request deletion of your personal data submitted via our contact form, please contact us (see section 9).

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights in relation to any personal data we hold about you via our contact enquiry form:
