1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Digital Toolbook for Social Impact website (the “Platform”), you (“User”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”), and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Who we are

The Platform is provided by the Koita Centre for Digital Transformation (operated by India Leaders for Social Sector & Koita Foundation) (“we”, “us”, “our”). The Platform provides a public repository of digital tools, service provider listings, case studies and resources for social purpose organisations.

3. Scope of the Platform

The Platform functions as an information-listing service. It does not provide professional advice, endorsements, or guarantee the accuracy, suitability or availability of any tool or service provider listed. Your use of any listings is at your own risk.

4. Access & Use of the Platform

4.1 You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 You agree not to use the Platform in any way that:

• violates applicable laws or regulations;
• infringes or misuses our intellectual property or rights of others;
• attempts to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its servers.

4.3 We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion, for any reason, without notice.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Platform (text, graphics, logos, images, listings, design) is owned by or licensed to us unless otherwise indicated. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and use the content for your personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

6. Third-party Links & Listings

The Platform may contain links to, or listings of tools, service providers or websites operated by third parties. We do not control these external sites, their content or privacy practices, and we assume no liability for them. Inclusion of a listing does not imply endorsement by us.

7. Warranty Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

7.1 The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for purpose, or availability of the content or listings.

7.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage or expense arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on any content or listing.

7.3 In jurisdictions that do not permit such exclusions, our liability shall be limited to the minimum permitted by law.

8. External Use & Your Decisions

You acknowledge that any decision to engage a tool or service provider listed on the Platform is your responsibility. You should conduct your own due diligence before relying on any listing. We are not responsible for the actions, omissions or service delivery of any third-party listed.

9. User Contributions

If the Platform allows you to submit information (e.g., a tool listing or service provider entry), you agree that:

• you own or have rights to submit the content;
• the content is accurate and not misleading;
• we may edit, refuse, remove or suspend any submission at our discretion;
• submission does not constitute endorsement by us; and
• You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use and display your submitted content.

10. Privacy & Data

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy which describes how we collect, use and protect data. Please review that document carefully.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The Last updated date will be amended to November 30, 2025. Your continuing use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
